It is neither glass nor artificial stone, but real rock crystal that glistens like the surface of the water when it catches the light.


This rounded, plump design was called a "pools of light" because of the amount of light it holds, and was a popular design in Europe more than 100 years ago. Today, however, it is unlikely that you will find genuine rock crystal pools of light lockets being made.


Japanese craftsmanship has recreated such a fading design. The smooth, beautiful rock crystal is carefully cut into pieces.


And not forgetting the metal fittings that hold them together. Japanese craftsmanship, with its attention to detail, has made it possible to create fittings that are so clean, beautiful and unobtrusive to the design, while maintaining the practicality of being able to close with a click.


You can enjoy the pools of light without putting anything in it, or you can put your own little treasures in it and use it as a talisman, gently illuminating your days.

This locket is designed to hold one or two loose gemstones measuring approximately 3 mm in diameter (loose stones are not included).

Its crystal acts like a magnifying lens, making the gemstones inside appear larger and allowing you to enjoy their beauty in greater detail.
