The delicate ladybug, small enough to rest on your fingertip, is handcrafted one by one by artisans in Kochi, the heart of Japan’s coral industry.

Its tiny body is made from coral, tortoiseshell, and ebony—materials cherished in Japan for centuries, yet rarely seen today.
