Is everyone busy with the year-end rush?
With only a short time left in 2024, thank you all very much for your support of Jewellery Wanderlust this year.
For Jewellery Wanderlust, 2024 was truly "the year of new beginnings."
We conducted a crowdfunding campaign from April to May, and after a six-month preparation period, our online store opened on November 15th.
Furthermore, I, personally as the representative, successfully obtained the Graduate Gemologist (GG) qualification from the GIA (Gemological Institute of America), which is an international gem identification qualification.
The fine jewelry industry, which deals with gems and precious metals, has a high barrier to entry for newcomers, and Jewellery Wanderlust, having just launched, is still relatively unknown. I was not born into a jewelry family; my previous job was with an international NGO. However, precisely because I am such a "newcomer," I believe I can be someone who can challenge the long-standing issues within Japan's jewelry industry.
This year, I also had the opportunity to speak about issues related to gemstones, bringing me one step closer to one of my goals with ethical jewelry brands: "raising widespread awareness of the issues surrounding gemstones and jewelry."
Jewellery Wanderlust is supported by everyone who resonates with the brand's original vision from the crowdfunding campaign: "to create jewelry that brings happiness to both the people who create gems and the people who wear them." Thank you so much.
Next year, we have even more initiatives planned than this year, and we are currently working hard to prepare them. We look forward to your continued support of Jewellery Wanderlust next year.
